1889 Morgan Dollar

The 1889 Morgan Dollar would have the highest mintage for any issue of the series until the vast numbers minted in the final year of the series surpassed the record. Despite the high mintage of 21,726,000, at one time mint state examples were considered scarce due to large scale melting. Plentiful supplies of coins would later emerge in the Treasury releases of the 1950?s and 1960?s, making gem examples common.

The Philadelphia Mint produced 811 of the Proof 1889 Morgan Dollars.

    Shipping and Delivery
We pride ourselves on prompt delivery. If a coin is purchased on the website or over the phone and PayPal is the payment method, we will make every effort to send it the following day. Exceptions to this will be when we are at a show, in which case the coin(s) will ship when we return to the office. If check or money order is the payment method, we will deposit the check/money order and ship once payment has cleared.
All of our shipments are USPS Priority mail or FedEx (depending on value). Signature confirmation is required for packages valued at $250 or above. We believe this is the best way to protect all parties from lost or stolen packages. Of course all packages are insured for the full purchase price. Tracking information will also be provided.
    Returns
All coins we sell come with a no questions asked 30 day return privilege. We simply ask you let us know if a coin is being returned before the thirty days have expired. The last thing we want is someone to be unhappy with a coin purchase and will gladly issue a prompt refund once the coin is  returned in its original holder and condition.
On a related note, if there is a coin you are upgrading and originally purchased from us, we are always elated to buy back the duplicate coin based upon current market value. Please contact us for further details.
